On a happier note…

ANNUAL DINNER/DANCE
Please place the Club annual Dinner/Dance on your calendar for Saturday, August 3, 2024. Board member Rob Tenney has been busy planning a great schedule of additional Club events and we will post these on our website once the schedule has been finalized.

YOUR EVENT AT THE CLUB
The Board continues to encourage members to consider the Club either as their family wedding venue or to sponsor friends and extended family who wish to use the Club for this purpose. Although not available during the high season of July and August, June and September are both ideal times for a wedding or large family event. DUES FOR 2024

1. Full member dues are increasing to $600 as determined by The Board to stay on pace with inflation.
2. Associate member rate will remain at $275; those associate members who joined at the initial $100 dues rate are grandfathered at that rate until they become full members (at age 35 or 5 years of associate membership, whichever comes first). Associate members’ dues will continue to accrue toward their initiation fee when converting to full members.
3. New member initiation fees are remaining at $1,000; current associate members, who joined prior to 2022, are grandfathered at the $500 full member initiation fee in place when they originally applied.

Roe and Molly are aiming to have the 2024 dues invoices sent, via email, to everyone the first week of February.

BNB RATES
Room reservation rates have been adjusted (for the same inflation reasons) for a $20/night increase. Room rates will now reflect one standard rate, regardless of occupancy, which will continue to fall under either high season or low season pricing. The website has been updated to reflect these changes.

The Club Board and Management, however, want our members to know we heard your room improvement recommendations and have implemented room-freshening upgrades based on that feedback.

As always, The Board wishes to thank both the contributors to the Club’s Preservation Fund as well as our Sustaining Members. These two categories of contributing members are emphatically important to the Club. Tax deductible contributions to the Preservation Fund go toward the maintenance of the historical aspects of the building. Our Sustaining Members, who contribute beyond the obligatory annual dues, help with our operating expenses and building maintenance not covered by the Preservation Fund’s 501(c)3 guidelines. Members who choose to pay their annual dues in the amount of $1,000 or more are appreciated as members in this category and are granted a complimentary night’s stay at the Club (other than the first two weeks of August).
